Asiamet signs MoU with China Nonferrous Metals

Asiamet (“ARS” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd (China NFC), a subsidiary of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. for value engineering and Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for the BKM Copper project located in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.



Successful Placing of approximately US$ 2.1 million

Asiamet Resources Limited ("Asiamet" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has today successfully placed a total of 50,000,000 new common shares of par value US$0.01 each in the Company (the "Placing Shares") at a price of 3.5 pence per share (the "Issue Price") raising gross proceeds of approximately £1,750,000 million (US$2,124,000 million) (the “Placing”).



Asiamet Receives Key Environmental Approval for BKM Copper Project

Asiamet (“ARS” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the receipt of a key permit for its 100% owned BKM copper project (“BKM”) located in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. The Environmental permit, issued by the Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan allows the Company to proceed with the development of the BKM project mine and infrastructure including supporting activities, through to closure of operations.



Asiamet Director Appointment

Asiamet Resources Limited ("Asiamet" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Feng (Bruce) Sheng as a Non-Executive Director to the Board effective from 10 July 2019. Mr Sheng is the Chairman of Melbourne based Asipac Group Pty Ltd, a diversified company with investments across the resources and financial sectors, and various property businesses. Mr Sheng also currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Australia China Business Council (Victoria) and the Executive Chairman of ASX listed Terramin Australia Ltd, a company developing a portfolio of zinc and gold projects in Australia and Algeria.



Issue of Director Performance Rights

Asiamet Resources Limited ("ARS" or the “Company”) notes that pursuant to their letters of engagement, each of the Non-Executive Directors (“Directors”) of the Company and the Chairman are eligible to receive directors fees. The Chairman and Directors have elected to receive these fees in performance rights in the form of shares for the period 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018.

Exercise of Options

Asiamet Resources Limited ("ARS" or the “Company”) reports that it has received notification from an Option holder to exercise options over 1,150,000 new common shares in the share capital of the Company (the “New Common Shares”). The Company has today issued the New Common Shares to the option holder and has received C$57,500 as a result of the exercise of these options respectively at a price of C$0.05 per option.



Exercise of Warrants

Asiamet Resources Limited ("ARS" or the “Company”) reports that it has received notification from warrant holders to exercise warrants over 1,881,606 new common shares in the share capital of the Company (the “New Common Shares”). The Company has today issued the New Common Shares to the option and warrant holders and has received C$188,161 as a result of the exercise of these warrants at a price of C$0.10 per warrant.



Strong Copper Results from Final BKM Feasibility Study Drilling

Asiamet Resources Limited ("ARS" or the "Company") is pleased to report the final assay results from an additional infill drilling programme completed as part of the Bankable Feasibility Study (“BFS”) for the Beruang Kanan Main ("BKM") copper deposit in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Asiamet Updates Beutong Copper-Gold Resource

Asiamet Resources Limited (“Asiamet”, “ARS”, or the “Company”) is pleased to announce an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (“MRE”) for the Beutong Copper-Gold Project (“Beutong”) located in Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh, Indonesia. Asiamet holds an 80% interest in Beutong through its local operating subsidiary PT Emas Mineral Murni (“EMM”). The Statement of Mineral Resources in Table 1 completed by Hackman & Associates (“Hackman”) is reported in accordance with the requirements of the 2012 JORC Code.



Additional BFS drilling results further strengthen BKM Resource

Asiamet Resources Limited ("ARS" or the "Company") is pleased to report that additional assay results received from the infill and geotechnical drilling as part of the Bankable Feasibility Study (“BFS”) on the Beruang Kanan Main ("BKM") copper deposit located in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. These results confirm expectations and further strengthen the robustness of the BKM Resource models.



Exercise of Options

Asiamet Resources Limited ("ARS" or the “Company”) reports that it has received notification from Mansur Geiger, a Person discharging managerial responsibilities (“PDMR”), to exercise options over 1,000,000 new common shares in the share capital of the Company (the “New Common Shares”). The Company has today issued the New Common Shares to the option holder and has received C$50,000 as a result of the exercise of these options respectively at a price of C$0.05 per option.
